About NADAS

NADAS was formed in 2019 to take on the administrative and maintenance work at Nelson Airport.

NADAS aims to represent all Airport stakeholders including the owner and operator, the City of Nelson, businesses on the field, recreational pilots, visitors both land and air, and the residents of Nelson and the region.

NADAS has been successful in orchestrating necessary runway repairs, applying for and successfully winning significant grants. Recently there have been apron and taxiway improvements, a new secure gate and the refurbishment of the terminal waiting room and washrooms.

NADAS' vision is to ensure that the Airport serves all its stakeholders in an effective manner, remaining economically viable and changing as needed to accommodate new demands.
